These just bloomed for the first time recently, so thought I'd share. Petals reach almost 19 inches!

Outstanding! Great that the real long petals got passed through. (Maybe the 3N influence...) Grande x wallisii is Penns Creek Cascade.
Thanks, guys. Is it really Penn's Creek? I swear, I have *got* to get more diligent about looking these things up. When I buy them, they' re usually not named yet, so I just go by the old tag. Thanks for the update, Jason.
Parkside had a Penn's Creek I was considering *ages* ago, and if I am not mistaken, Peter talked me out of it...(not for me, but for my mom - went w/ the MM after all, ease of growing!) at any rate they do list it as "Phrag. Penn's Creek Cascade (Grande v. Gigantea [4N] x wallisii)" I think the one they originally listed was an awarded one from Wickford Orchids in RI.
