This guy is blooming again after a six month rest. Often mistaken for Phal amabilis, this species is a cornerstone in most of the line breeding of large white Phalaenopsis.

It is beautiful Julie! My white phal that has survived root rot leaving one live root (overwatering before I got it) has put out 2 new leaves. I carried it outside every night to chill it for the month of November and now waiting for (hopefully) a spike.
Very nice!
Cheers,
BD
gorgeous!
Pretty! McJulie! And why do you pick this phal? It's white!
Cheers. Hoa.
Lovely! That beautiful throat reminds me of a large mouth bass I caught once. That's a compliment BTW
Large mouth? Is this yet some new way to say I talk too much?
McWordy
It 's beautiful McJ.

LOL! Nah, it really is a type of bass. And that angle of the bloom throat looks just like the throat and gills of a fine bass. Personally, McWordy, I've never seen you with your mouth open THAT wide, so I'm at a loss to compare. Hence the description applies to the flower, unless you'd like to compete.
