Default Normal vs Alba in charlesworthii

This is a quick picture I took while repotting my charlesworthii compot. There was a comment about having to wait to determine if a particular plant was alba or not in the Count The Beans thread. No need to wait for charlesworthii. Normal plants have the typical red spotting at the base of the plants, alba do not.

Only a little while left to get your guesses in!!!

In Paphiopedilum, it is sometimes VERY hard to tell if the plant will be albino or not. Some of the species with purple spotting at the base will sometimes lack those spots (like Paph. spicerianum) without a difference in the blooms.

Looking at your plant without the purple spotting, my guess is that it's the true albino. The albino form typically has slightly wider leaves, and does not get as large as the typical Paph. charlesworthii.
