    Default Clear Plastic Pots

I don't know if this has been mentioned before but, I broke a 5" pot on a Coch. Amazing a few months ago and didn't have a replacement. I saw an old 2 liter juice bottle in the recycle bin, cut off the top about 5" from the bottom and punched holes in the five 'bubbles' at the bottom. The Coch. loves it, and I can see the medium condition and the root health.

Very good idea! Someone else on the forum mentioned using those clear deli containers. Good idea, too, but I like my potato salad homemade LOL. Drink a lot of Pepsi, tho! Thanks for the suggestion.

Anyone know where to purchase the clear round plastic containers with holes in the bottom and slits in the sides? Especially 4 and 5 inch ones.

Another good "makeshift" pot for orchids are those small strawberry baskets you get at the store... they are nice if you want good drainage for sphagnum moss and the plant. I would suggest them more for a compot or seedling purpose (as they are rectangular and more space saving than round pots), but they work well for just about anything that likes sphagnum moss (they just look unattractive)...

Even with 20-30 cute little heads poking out of them? Naw, I didn't think so.
