Finally got the time to photograph this one... this is a division of a wild collected Cattleya percivaliana, which is a released specimen of the Marie Selby Botanical Garden's Living Collection. This primarily lithophytic species is endemic to Venezuela at about 1,000m to 2,000m elevation. The fragrance on this plant smells like pancakes... The blooming on this plant is a little whacky; the new growth sprouted a new growth, and both bloomed simultaneously. The flowers are not fully spread open, as the amount of flowers constricted the size, but they are fairly large and have great form...
