Just thought I'd share a photo of my monster Catt (well something related to a Catt I think - if anyone can identify the plant that would be great), this guy was given to me by a friend who had almost killed it. The catt put on so much new growth last year that at one stage I had over 100 blooms all open at once! Then it kept on growing and exploded out of its plastic pot. I couldn't find a pot at the local mega-nursery store big enough to replant it, so I had to chop the plant in half with a hack-saw (yes brutal I know) and now I have 2 huge plants (only one shown - the other is the same size), both flowering quite happily. All pics are from the same plant - a real monster!

It;s a beauty !
Cin
Gorgeous, and my favourite colour too! Judi
Beautiful ! It might be C. skinneri a species Catt. or a cross of it . Type in skinneri in a search then click on images I looked but seems there are diffrent colors and forms of it , did not look at all the pages . Gin
very pretty
Hey! I know this guy, it's definitely C. bowringiana because C. skinneri has lip that shapes like a trumpet while this guy has a more open lip. Whatever it is, it's a big beauty!
So, how does it smell?
Well...Julie finally did it, and through her psychic superpowers (like the ones I sent when she started in with her pleuro collection), my will power was weakened, and I finally picked up my own Catts. Be damned if I knew what they were...but Noids are good to learn on.
Ahhh...dear Minister...welcome to the dark side! Mwaaahaaaahaaaa!
Did you get them at our favorite neighborhood greenhouse?
