Default What does your growing area look like?

Frequently, when I come on the forum and see everyone gorgeous pictures of their orchids, I think to myself, "I wonder what their growing area/greenhouse looks like! Are they big? Small? Or just a little windowsill garden like mine?"

So, I'd love to ask all of you, what do your orchid growing areas look like? I'm a little embarassed at the puny size of mine, but here it is: I have a mini dendrobium (blooming), mini oncidium 'red stars' and a seeding mini-catt that hasn't done a whole lot of anything since i got it...haha

Becky, that's a fine window for orchid growing; which way does it face? Looks like good light. I'm with BD, you are much too tidy; need to cram a couple dozen more in there like me! heehee

Nice window Becky and healthy looking plants too. I wish I have a window that big.

Is your mini Dendrobium have a name? I have one that look just like that and I lost the tag.

That is a nice deep windowsill! I can only fit mine on in single file. I have 2 NW facing windows, but when theyre full I shall have to move! Judi

Becky- I'm in NYC too with just one windowsill like yours. No need to be embarassed. What's important is that you're making the best of what you've got.

I think the dendrobium is a Den. Pixie Princess...I'd written about it in a previous post. Its really cute, and I can't believe how long the blooms have lasted!!
