This Phal caught my eye because of the leaf markings which as you can see are similar to Phal schilleriana, stuartiana, etc. This may be a cross with the former because of the lavender color, but then again maybe there are several Phal's out there with mottled leaves....so any ideas? The petals are very lightly veined with a pale picotee. The flowers are smal and not re-curved back as P. schilleriana.
I think you're right, Biker, it's a hybrid, but some species with mottled leaves is evident. There are a couple of others with mottled leaves besides stuartiana and schilleriana, but those two are used heavily in breeding.
Unfortunately, I can't get any closer than that. When it's pure species it's much easier to say.
