    Default Mounting ?????

    hi all in the orchid relm!!!!!!!! I just purchased a Iwanagara apple Blossom and I was mondering if I can mount this like I have done with my brassavola. I have read that it has to be mounted horizontily?? I would realy like to do it vertically. I would like to go ahead and pre thank everyone for any help forthcoming. please excuse my bad typing because I am typing with one hand. I have my new baby Zachary in my hand. here is the joy of my life

    Very cute Zachary! Wish you luck with the mounting - mine's in a pot and staying there as I have no room to put mounts around the flat.

    No...I wouldn't mount Zach! He seems pretty happy as is!

    As for the 'chid, the plant probably grows horizontally as Catts typcially do. It means it will grow away from the mount, which will reduce a lot of moisture and humidity to the roots. Just a guess.
