I don't agree, Nelson. I think the black of the background gives way to the red in the blooms. Otherwise, I might have thought that this bloom was black and not the deep mahogany brown/red that it is. It is beautiful regardless.

These are amazing, and so glassy!! I like it very much!!
I like the flowers. They look artificial, even the color lends to that impression. Try taking pics with a light background color so we can see what effect it would have on the appearance of the petals' color. I like the pictures, too.
I love the flower color against the green leaves. Just pile more plants in behind it, and you'll see the flowers fine!
