    Default Watering in terrarium

By now I've a couple of mini's for my terrarium, and It's starting to look really great (the flash has made it look really brown...), but today I decided to check out the roots on some of the plants just to be sure. Sadly I think I've been overwatering alot of rotten roots here.. SO my question is - How offten do you other terrarium keepers water/mist/turn on dripping?? The humidity is running at aprox 90%, and I'm growing a good mix of plants with different requirements - maybe that wasn't the smartest move here's a list:
    Aerangis fastuosa
    Bulbophyllum lasiochilum
    Cirrhopetalum lepidum
    Cischweinfia dasyandra
    Dendrobium abberans
    Dendrobium kingianum
    Dendrobium moniliforme
    Leptotes bicolor
    Oncidium Twinkle
    Phalaenopsis Mini Mark
    Phalaenopsis parishii
    Promenaea Meadow Gold
    Restrepia elegans
    Sedirea japonica

I can handle the differences in temperature requirements since the tank is quite tall and it's aprox 22 degrees celcius in the bottom and 30 in the top.

Hope you guys can help me figure out a schedule to stop all that rot! For now I'm thinking twice a week with humidity kept at 90% - does that sound about right??

And a pic: (still a lot of space to fill out ))

I feel like maybe with humidity at 90%, you probably don't even need to water 2x a week, ya know? That might be even overdoing it...I'd say try 1x a week. Things don't really dry out at all with humidity at 90%, and you do need that just a little bit to prevent rot.

I'm sure you may have mentioned this in a prior post, but is the air moving in there? You probably have fans up in the top, right?

I forgot to mention, you've got a great list of plants there! I myself pick up a Sedirea japonica a few days ago at the orchid show; its mounted on a a small piece of cork and I just love it :-) Good choices!!

There's fans both at the top abd bottom - havent had any mold or fungus yet! My girlfriend picked out the Sedirea japonica - she's a good picker

The reason I started watering so much was beacause the roots actually lokked dry - I was thinking the same thing 'they sholdn't dry out in that kind of humidity' but maybe it's just the surface?? I have the dend. abberans way up in the top where it's kinda hot, and he does need regular watering or the pb's start shrivling

Thank you for your advice and kind remarks

    Christian
