Default like a critter from a StarWars type film

Probably just me or my weird state of mind but these buds on my Hoya carnosa, with the two new ?leads? above, them triggered a mental image of some sort of long-necked creature with two eye stalks [kinda like a snail] with a bunch of tentacles where its mouth would be.

    Default Another star wars-like plant

If we're talking Star Wars, this picture should probably go here.

I can't really decide whether it looks like a starship or some kind of creature.

Me, too. It looks like it has two tiny eyes on stems up near the top-center of the flower. Hehe. Very nifty.

I agree. It's starting to look more and more like a creature: what with the eyes on tiny stalks, kind of dome-shaped head and huge smile.

It just that in that picture it reminded me of that droid tri-fighter in Episode III.
(And as a Star Wars fan I should know, my brother would say...)

These flowers look like mutant wasps to me.

Mutant wasps from the planet Endor
