I think my camera envy is as intense as my floral envy! Gorgeous photos, of such delicate flowers, Qing! It must smell wonderful.

My little Fu Ran Sedirea japonica is in bloom and I have it right beside my computer. I'm getting quite a nose full of its strong lemony scent.

I'm going to cop the "Not all the flowers are open yet" plea. The reality is there will be no photo shoot until the book proofs are completed and returned to the publisher. I'd like to have some books available for my Los Angeles trip! We're right at the wire for that, and every day counts.

I've proofed 176 pages today, which is very close reading, and my brain is shot. So I'm catching up on a few posts and trying to water plants. But a photo shoot takes time I won't have for at least a few more days. I have a few blooming lovlies who want to be photographed, so it is coming. Just not likely till mid-next week.

This is a really beautiful plant! I've never seen anything like it! Does it smell like heaven, because that's sure what it looks like!!

Oh, yes, but only at night. I bought a Sharry Baby and it only smells during the day. So my room is like heaven, with sweet fragrance 24 hours non-stop.
