    Default Mtdm. Pacific Sumrise 'Hakalau'

This bud finally opened up, there are about 3 dozen more buds on this little plant. I bought it last summer and the blooms were very small and light pink. Wow, what a differance.

That is extra pretty! It's going to be quite a show when all those buds open up! Is it a large plant?

I can't wait Lynda when they all open, I hope they all last long enough to be open together. This plant is not very big, it's sitting in a four inch pot and only two bulbs. I'll bet as it gets bigger it will be a real explosion.

    Default Cool!

That is very cool looking. Almost looks "flesh-like" or something..

With the father being O. ornithorhycum, I bet the scent is there!

The petals are almost wax like but I didn't notice any scent.
