Default What is this & how do I get rid of it?

Hi All - I've noticed this funny looking white vaguely fuzzy pattern on the underside of a few of my orchids. Can someone tell me what it is, is it a problem and how do I get rid of it please?

I live in a tropical climate if that's any help.

Looks like ALIENS to me are you sure that your plants have not been invaded??? I think that some alcohol and water infused towels will wipe away the invaders.

I concur. It looks like the stuff mealy bugs leave behind. If it isn't that it could be powdery mildew. Wipe it away with an alcohol swab. If you see more appear you may consider using a pesticide. If it is powdery mildew you can try Physan 20 or cinnamon
