Default Bllra. Marfitch 'Howard's Dream' AM/AOS

This has been in my collection for many years and although it takes up too much room, I can't get rid. of it. Too pretty to get rid of. This year I was lazy and didn't stake the spike. There is close to a 5" petal spread on those flowers

That's a looker all right, it's flowers are gorgeous. I quite like the spikes unstaked - unless of course all the blooms end up facing the floor!

    Default I know! I know!

I know what you mean, Ron. I have one of these huge space monsters that I can't get rid of as well. However, mine seems to want to bloom in December/January. Does yours bloom twice a year or just in the Spring?

I think it is always this time of year...but I don't keep a record of that info, which I should.

Wow, Ron, that is gorgeous! I lOVE the color patterns! Each bloom looks like a star shaped magenta and white lava lamp. Beautiful! So how big IS it?
