I tried the kiekipro on one of my cats dormant backbulbs but nothing happened. I will probably give the kieki grow a try on a different one to see if that gets me anything. The vendors both claim that they can be used on back buds to get them to grow.

    Hi all,

I hope I can help with a little info on this thread. The reason you are getting spikes / branches is because that is the type of growth that was occuring when you applied KeikiPro. Keikis will be produced if you apply it when the plant has finished blooming and has begun new growth. Timing is everything when using KeikiPro. As far as the back eyes on Cattleya's, spray the growth stem / rhyzome when the lead eye is active. Just using it 'anytime' in general will get you general results. Use it at specific times to get specific results. When I learn how to post photos here I will show you some things to drool over, LOL
