I have only used Primeagra, but it is more expensive than that. Sounds like a good way to get it to me. Especially since you don't have to order it in and pay shipping. And that quantity will go a long way unless you have a lot of large pots.

Hey there, new to this whole S/H thing... found a local source for hydroton the price of a bag is $30.00 fairly large bag about the size of a 25lb bag of dog food. Was wondering what you guys though of that price.

the price looks good to me. Let your fingers do the walking...hydroponic stores usually carry it. That is where I buy Hydroton.
$25 is the going rate for a bag that size. That's what I pay for it. I promise you..a bag that size will last FOREVER (I have one that size now that I've been using for the last three years).
I like using Hydroton straight (no s/h) for catts. I've had great results with it.
a 50L bag goes for $30 in this area.
ok then the vegas store isn't charging too much. It's not going to last forever as I'm slowly converting plants over to it and hoping they do better than last year.
