Default Three slippers in bloom - a paph, phrag, and cyp

First, I have Paphiopedilum Judge Philip. It's a cross between Pinnochio and phillipinese, and Todd has one too that is a sibbling of mine and also posted on this forum. It's a cross between a sequential bloomer and a multifloral, but the buds are progressing quickly so I might see three blooms at once. I could have staked and staighted the spike vertically for a better display, so that the blooms don't overlap but I risk snapping it. The second bloom just opened and is not fully developed.

Next is Phragmipedium Ecua-bess, my first phrag. A primary cross between besseae and ecuadorense. Besseae 'Fire Engine' was used for this one. It was a sequential bloomer last year, but it seems that the spike is developing faster this year and I may have multiple blooms at the same time on the spike this year. Also a very vigorous grower too.

I bought another Cypripedium parviflorum var. pubescens recently at a society meeting and a native orchid of North America. This one has stronger fragrance and deeper colours than my last one I posted last month, but the blooms are smaller. I was told that blooms can vary depending on the exposure of the location they are blooming in, so it may not bloom the same next year.

And a group shot of them. Three slippers from three different continents in the same photo

Ditto to what BD said. Cyps are great and remind me of my childhood when we would find them sometimes when camping in the mountains.
