Default Free Sicko Phal new growth

When I got the sicko's this week, I instantly repotted them into my special bark mix. I named them #1 through #6, figuring when the one's bloomed that are in spike I would snap a quick pic and then cut off the spikes. So far the rest are coming along, this one in particular I held little hope for, but this morning look what I found, a new growth and some roots growing off the old cruddy ones! Woo Hoo! One surviving, five more to baby still.....

As you can see the one little lonely leaf left on it is soon to go....

I don't know about you but I get just as excited about new growth as I do with a bloom spike. And I congratulate you taking in strays.

Unfortunately, this is probably the old survival instinct kicking in. If I wanted to save the plant I'd cut the spike, but at this point, I'd be curious enough to let it go...

When it shows detail a little better in a picture I will update. It looks like the bottom is fatter than the top so I'm hoping for a baby plant.....and I love rescuing plants.
    Thanx All
