Some Hoyas are slow-growing, but I think H. carnosa grows like a weed (at least for me).

I have the really, really curly leaf type, and it grows maybe an inch a year.

Mine seems to grow in fits and spurts. Grows rapidly for a time then pauses to catch its breath then shoots out again.

    Default Oooh!

Mine is currently blooming around the trellis I wrapped it around earlier this Spring. I love it when they decide to bloom in "strategic places"

Beautiful shots, Pavel and Clint. Hoyas are wonderful; I saw a guide get a tourist to taste the nectar of one at MSBG. She was astonished at how sweet it was!

I've tasted it too. It's sweeter than orchid honey!
