Default Habenaria rhodocheila (pink form), last time, I promise

Can ya tell this is one of my all-time favorite orchids? All flowers open now. Flowers sweetly (yet not strongly) fragrant from mid-morning to mid-afternoon.

I must say, of all the ones you post, the Habenaria's are my favorites. I prefer the orange, but that is just me.

aesthetically, I like the orange form better, too...but the fragrance puts the pink over-the-top for me (fragrance is always a serious bonus when it comes to orchids).

Wow! That one is so unusual! Thanks for the pic! How long do the blooms last on this one?

    Cheers!

the flowers last 2-3 weeks, I think...you know, I never really timed it.

The first flower was open on the 14...so it's lasted more than two weeks now...I'm expecting it to fade in a few days' time, though.
