BD,
Is this plant fragrant at night? I just got one and I'm hoping for blooms next spring.
That's a beauty, Bruce! Love the pure white and purple freckled lip. The size is startling.
Natali, thanks for bringing this up! This one goes to my wish list! It's gorgeous!
Two years should be old enough if it is that big. That plant is probably 2 or 3 years old. I *think* it is in a 5 or 6 inch pot but would have to go look to find out.
Cheers,
BD
My plant is growing in 3" pot. The biggest growth from rizome till leaf top is about 4,5"- 5" long. The plant is growing young roots and new growths, but has no sign of blooming.
This plant is definitely blooming size, I think.
Mine has a bunch of red spots on the leaves and has a sheath that should bloom soon. Are you giving it enough light? Brassavola hybrids usually can take a BUNCH of light. Mine gets about 6 hours a day of direct sun.
