This one surprised me. I was expecting a much smaller bloom from the size of the plant. It turned out huge!

    Default Very NICE!

Auntie Diane sent me a bit of hers that I'm anxiously awaiting.

I hear these plants are about 8" tall and the flowers are about 4.5". Is this pretty accurate, BD?

It is about 8". I would say the flowers were 3.5 to 4 inches on mine. It was in bad shape when I first got it, lost all roots to rot due to being in tightly pack sphag. Now growing steadily and blooms nicely.

The pot I am holding in the photo is a six inch pot. The blooms seem to dwarf the plant. I will try to remember to measure it next time I go out there.

Ok, I measured it. The plant, at its tallest point, stands 11 inches above the pot. The blooms are 5 inches wide from left side to right side.
