    Talking My First Earned Slipper Bloom

    This guy finally opened yesterday. Label says Paph callosum 'Jack' but the general consensus is that it's mis-labelled and most likely a charlesworthii hybrid of some sort, possibly Paph Rosita (charlesworthii x callosum). I'll never know for sure but I'm still pleased that I got a slipper to bloom 'from scratch' so to speak

    I like the coloring on this one, no matter what the correct name is. Congrats on the bloom!

    good growing!! Congrats!! Definitely a charlesworthii hybrid...possibly with callosum

    I think this callosum 'jac' confusion has happened in the past before in UK:

    very interesting how dominate the charlesworthii is in both blooms, makes me want one too
