Thumbs down Stellamizutaara- anyone have experience with these?

    Stellamizutaara (STLMA.) "Kelly Lea"
I got one of these at a growers "yard sale" in August. It a great looking plant, and now has a spike. I had never heard of this specefic intergen. cross, and found nothing online. One page in a book mentioned it but I have found very little else. Does anyone here have any info? I am not even sure what is in it's genetic backround- it seems obvious that part of it is brassavola though.
It seems like a pretty cool plant - the tag record shows it having flowered every 4 or so months, and it looks like new growths bloom right as soon as they seem to mature. I just noticed a small spike, I am excicted , and I will post a pic when it blooms!
So anyone know about this mysterious stranger? meg

As far as I've read it's Brassocattleya x Cattleytonia - how did they ever get that to be "Stellamizutaara"?!?!
However according to RHS your specific plant is Brassavola nodosa x Cattleytonia Keith Roth. The latter is Cattleya bicolor x Broughtonia sanguinea. So that would be the entire family tree of your plant

The flowers are lovely btw, very delicate - almost pastel and translucent - it probably got that from the Ctna Keith Roth..

Really cool plant and such a nice yard sale find!

The cross is B. nodosa x Cattleytonia Keith Roth

    Keith Roth = C. bicolor x B. sanguinea

    So, you have B. nodosa x (C. bicolor x B. sanguinea)

Meg, you got a very nice little plant at that yard sale, I find them to be a very easy bloomer, I have two of them and they have been in bloom for me on and off all summer.
