Default phals repotted in clear pots

Ok. So now I have repotted all of my phals in those great clear pots with all the slits on the sides to increase drainage (a monumental task I might add) and now lots of them have grown roots through the slits and up the sides of the pots. So what do I do now? They are planted in New Zealand sphagnum moss.

Enjoy them. These orchids grow this way. When they get "too many" roots for you, you can cut away the plastic pot and repot them.

    Cheers,

Thanks B.D. I hadn't thought about cutting the pots off (Duh!). I was just thinking about how it would tear up the roots trying to pull them out to repot. Still, it will be an even more monumental task having to cut the pots off. I think I will put it off as long as possible. Paphs are so much easier to repot. I am starting to lean towards them more and more.

    Yippeee, another Paph convert!

I agree with BD, pots are dispensable compared to the roots!
