Default How Long Must I Wait?

This is a pic of a Cymbidium I salvaged from the old dumpster. This is the 1st spikes (3rd spike died - grower error) for me and they have looked like this for maybe 1 1/2 - 2 months growing in a GH that is about 60 at night and 68-72 days with moderate light. So how long should I wait........

Oh, it will not be long now!!

I can see the color in the buds and they look 'plump'.

    Cheers,

From my experience with standard cyms, those should be opening up within 2-3 weeks.

Nice erect spikes without support. Good job.

Be patient. Looks like they will be opening very soon.

    Yes, very nice greenhouse.
Nice Cymbidium too. I had one take about three months from spike to blooms. These are some very long taking and long lasting orchid blooms. You may actually get tired of looking at them after a month or two. Yeah, you are swearing "NO WAY?!" But wait and see.
    Enjoy.
