    Default Trichosalpinx memor (or orbicularis?)

This one is tagged memor, but it looks like it might be orbicularis. This is another mini (flowers about 1/16" wide) from South and Central America. I have no idea why I grow this (well, I know exactly why, but we won't go there). I got it about 2 months ago, and I think it's a keeper. It looks a bit dessicated because it is - hey, when I'm busy, I'm busy. (I should at least cut the dead stuff off. )

I'm always surprised when people ask that. Do flowers this small even have the potential for smell? (Nothing now - will try sniffing during the day tomorrow.)

~Ki who is not really into fragrance

heh I dont think size has anything to do with fragrance. For some reason this one just looks fragrant to me.

As for flower size and smell, Oncidium ornithorhynchum has small flowers and a very nice strong fragrance. (By the way, I'm writing to you from Paris - yes, I'm on vacation and checking the orchid sites, how sick is that? :-)
