Beautiful Zainal.
Are they terrestrial or epiphyte?
Connie
beatiful. I've seen them on an online auction before
Gosh, those are pretty, is the culture difficult? I been tempted but haven't dared to get one as I thought they were for outdoor growing in warm climates?

up here on the mountains on the northern philippines, they are planted on any soil. very easy to grow and the spike produces continuous blooms for months. flowers are really cute and resemble cattleyas. can tolerate direct sun exposure with ease.
The entire batch of arundina that I bought from a visit to Honolulu all appear to be dead now. They were ok (and actually appeared to be thriving) during our hot summers. But the moment the transition to winter arrived and temps started dipping they started dying.
I noticed immediate deterioration once the night temps started touching into the low 60s F.
The batch I got were definitely warm growing plants.
Nice pictures, Zainal!
