you have warned me before hand as i am planning to give it more light as soon as it gets
acclimated. But its raining anyways so theres not much sun.
If I am not mistaken, Roeblingiana prefers heavily shaded conditions in the wild. It is somewhat a cool growing vanda and needs plenty of humidity.

My roeblingianas are doing well in my patio. If you have the book of Jim Cootes he describes the cultural requirements quite well there.

Oh I lifted this photo from the iospe site - I couldn't resist the photo because their specimen is quite outstanding.

Yes Jojo, this is what I want my roeblingiana to be.... at the moment its so beaten up due
to transport by the vendors and the would be buyers handling the plants.... aside from the
200km travel it has to endure with me and my wife.

Unfortunately the Jim Cootes book is out of print... im eagerly waiting for him to release the
    new edition.

Hi Vangie I buy my orchids mostly at the Sunday Market at the Lung Center of the
Philippines in Quezon City. As we usually drive there a few times a month.

There are stalls that are selling native species -- this are the ones that i first go to.
Most stalls are selling hybrids of Vandas, Phals, Dends... and of course other non orchid
    plants.

    yep, nice vandas randy!
and as jojo pointed out, v. roeblingiana really needs it cold, you may consider the wettest/windiest spot at your area or putting up a fan.
    good luck!

Thanks Ron, another plant to pay special attention to on summer. But for the
meantime its cold and foggy here, i will move it to an area with much higher
    humidity later in the week.
