I have 5 different plants of these.
I group 4 of these in a hanging basket with sphagnmum moss while the 5th one is growing solo established on a piece of tree branch.
The first photo is the plant mounted on a tree branch.
Are you growing Philippine orchid species or both hybrid and species?
Jojo those are nice, sadly those I got last week have finally withered. and those with
developing buds blasted... my only hope now is that the spike on one of them continues.
When I first got my plants I treated them with SuperThrive to lessen plant shock and to encourage plant growth. So far ever since I've used this auxin with B1 vitamin, it has greatly reduced my mortality rate for new plants that I have acquired specially from those vendors who got sourced/harvested their plants from the wild.
I keep telling myself I have enough orchids...then I see something like this. I think I added this one to my wish list awhile back...because no list would be complete without this beauty! The lip is too cool...and the colors. I'll find one someday...
Love the waxy texture and the colour.
