Just bought this recently.I was attracted by the greenish-yellow colour of the petals and sepals and that beautiful purple lip. The flowers have good form and substance, plus it's an unusual primary hybrid using Christensonia vietnamica.
Love the color of the lip on this orchid. Such a nice compliment to the petals!
Orchidwiz tells me this makes Christenstylis Kedah Bella - which I imagine gives a clue toi where it was bred ! The abbreviation is Chn., btw.
I have a plant of this cross too - but not yet flowered. Lets hope it is as nice as yours
A Mardi Gras colored orchid! I love it, Yew. Mardi Gras is celebrated in New Orleans ( city of my birth ) every year in very early Spring/late Winter. Mardi Gras colors are: Green, gold and purple. Betty
