I bought this online last year as "near blooming size". It grew new p-bulbs and they put up empty sheathes last fall. Imagine my surprise when one of those sheathes filled up and bloomed in Feb!! This flower is huge (probably 6" across), floofy and smells wonderful. It was so large it was hard to even get a decent picture of it.
Now I am even more surprised though, the new p-bulb that grew before it bloomed has TWO buds opening this time! I can't wait! I highly recommend this white Cattleya. The old flower has hardly died and I have big fat buds...
Old but gorgeous hybrid. Bravo.
Wow...It's really huge flowers congrats.
