Very pretty, looks like a Neo hybrid.

Neat pastel color, and the scent sounds terrific! Is it Vandaceous?

This plant is a Neo hybrid, Neostylis Lou Sneary X Ascda. miniatum.

Wow! I didn't realize. Its Asctm x Neo x Rhy. Definitely vandaceous!

Do you see the Neo in the flowers, Qing? Or did you recognize the name?

I just looked it up. Apparently miniatum is an Ascocentrum (Asctm), not Ascocenda (Ascda). I don't know much about the vandaceous genera - other than to avoid them!

It is a cute little one, isn't it. I love the orange color. Very nice and bright next to the green leaves.

    Cheers!

Yes, Julie. The flower has a spur, only Neo has that. Almost all the Neo hybrids have spurs in the flower. Since Noe is in the vanda tribe, the hybrids are usually made with vandas.

Oh - I see it now! Like an Angraecum. I looked right past it. Thanks Qing!
