Default Dendrobium carinatum, for the serious stripes lover...

Only the first photo was taken with a DSLR Canon EOS400D, the rest were taken with Olympus C5060. I love Olympus; if only they had a better distribution network, and more models. This plant is endemic to the islands of Luzon and Mindoro.

I am with you on the Olympus cameras. I love mine, but it is too large to travel with so I just bought a Canon PowerShot SD 800 IS. This little guy fits in my pocket and takes great 'snap shots', but not photos like my Olympus camera.

Beautiful pics, btw. The red stripes in the bloom is striking!

    Cheers,
    BD

Canon is a good brand though, IMO. I haven't used it in a while but i've taken some nice pics with my dad's old SLR Canon

That looks like one heck of a long spike on the den, Nelson. Does it flower sequentially?
