The Orchid and the Rose
Just saw this short film and thought some of you might like to see it too.
The Orchid and the Rose
directed by Mark Benard and Dennis Tal.
Cheers,

We could learn a lot from crayons: some are sharp, some are pretty, some are dull, some have weird names, and all are different colors....but they all exist very nicely in the same box. ...Hmmm? .

Which one's the guy?! I'll go with the orchid...he's just dating a taller woman. Or maybe they're both guys. Bahaha. Scandelous...

Oh Kelly! Your thoughts of dating and relationships...
I thought that the orchid should have been a Cattleya. and that it should not have been growing in dirt with the rose but on the windowsill stuck to the side or something. The video gets full points for creativity and romance, but only an F+ in horticultural realism as pig and elephant DNA just don't splice...

I should probably knock before I go into my orchid room from now on...
I think the orchid's actually in a pot in the window box...I'm not sure though...looks like it's in something though. Realism or not, I kind of wanted to see an orchid/rose hybrid. Hrmf.

Very sweet. The orchid and rose seem to have a lovely relationship here. Thanks for sharing.

umm, ok. What I'm wondering is, who grows grass in a window box like that? How would you mow it??
