This is a discussion on Paph. with Floppy Leaves within the General Orchid Culture forums, part of the Orchid Culture category; Hello, A friend gave me a Paph NOID that must be at least five years ...
A friend gave me a Paph NOID that must be at least five years old, it's big, and is in an 8" pot. The leaves are a white/yellow/light-green color and are floppy. They are not supporting themselves and upright like my healthy Paphs. The plant has two full fans and one small fan. I can see a fuzzy "something" in the middle of one of the large fans; may be the start of a bloom.
My question is, should I consider all Paphs to be healthy as indicated by tall, upright, green leaves?
What steps should I do to get this plant healthy; if is not so already.
Looks fine to me, i had an insigne that grew like this, no matter how i grew it, the leaves were always splayed out
Looks like my phrag, not my paphs.

A bit of floppiness in the leaves is normal for some lowii or kolopakingii hybrids, which I think yours may be. The plant looks huge! But the floppy new growths are indicative of not enough feeding, I suspect, since the whole plant looks a bit yellowish.
