    Received this cattleya from a friend from Puerto Rico three years ago but he didn't have a tag, this is the first year that blooms.
    Does anyone know what it is?

    Probably Guarianthe (C.) bowringiana. Or possibly Gur. skinneri or Gur. x guatemaensis.

    i vote bowringiana as well. but it could also be skinneri maybe. does it smell like bubblegum?
