Default Putting orchids in a decorative container?

I am new to orchids and have been going nuts. With that being said, I recently bought three more and the lady at the shop talked me into putting them into decorative pots. She gently pulled these out of the clear plastic containers they were in and put them into beautiful ceramic pots. Two are phals and are blooming with many buds, one is an oncidium (Mystic Maze) and has many blooms with three buds left to open.

Since then I have been reading everything I can on orchid care. There is much to learn and not everyone agrees on the same methods for things. I did read an article that made sense and now I am in a panic. The article said to leave orchids in the plastic container and simply slip the plastic container into the ceramic or clay pot. Will I have a problem in the future with these orchids becoming root bound? I was thinking that maybe when the blooms are no more, I could put the plants back into a plastic pots. Any ideas, tips? The pots are not round in shape so putting the plastic into these pots would not have worked anyway. They are hex in shape.

I have six other orchids where I did leave them in the plastic and slipped those into clay pots for stability. I guess I was thinking about the aesthetic look these new orchids would give to my living room bay window. Dumb, huh?

I always keep my orchids in a removeable pot, when I place them inside deco planters. Easy to care for and you can see what's going on. After blooming I'd change they back, I think they will do better in the long run.

Thanks for the quick reply. I will do just that. Here's another dumb question. How will I really know that there won't be any more blooms on these orchids? Thanks again.
