Default Back Eye? Blc. Young Kong 'Sun #16'

    Hello again,

Yesterday was my birthday, and I bought a Blc. Young Kong to celebrate. It was in desperate need of repotting which I did today. My question is, are the little nodes at the bottom of the stalks back eyes? I have never seen a back eye so I can't tell.

    Thanks.

Happy belated birthday! Beautiful size plant! I am not familiar with the term "back eye" I assume you mean a dormant eye on a back bulb. What I am seeing in your pics is an eye that is going to be a front growth (next p-bulb) If you look at your last picture and at the growth behind the last mature growth, you will see a 'back eye" scale-like with a bit of dried sheath over it.
