Rhyncholaeliocattleya Beverly Blietz 'Volcano Queen' and (Cym. Agrivaine x Cym. Sylvania) 'Rose Passion' were two recent gifts from Betty (espranch) and Andy (members of our forum). I met them while visiting my family for my dad's birthday. They drove to Tyler on a Saturday morning (even after a tornado knocked down trees on their property early that morning) to meet me, Louis, and my parents to give these orchids to me.
It was really great to meet them. We talked for a few minutes, took a few photos and were on our way as it was a rushed weekend (one day) visit with my family in Texas. I was so happy to get to meet Betty and Andy in person. Anyway, here are a few photos to share.

and the cymbidium.
Thanks Betty & Andy!!

Hi Bruce, That was nice...to see the "Queen", and the "Princess" in their new home! I know that they will be well cared for, and make many beautiful flowers for you. It was so nice to meet all of you! Your friend, Betty
Gosh Betty...if it wasn't so far from Montana I would drive down and get a couple presents too! I will admit they look good in their new home! Good photo of you and BD!
What wonderful gifts and what wonderful people we have in OTF!
And, oh yes...Bruce DOES have very bright BLUE EYES, and he is sooooooooooo nice! Glad we are here in this group of orchid people! Betty :-)
Gee Betty, Texas isn't really that far from NW Fl. For presents like that I would have driven over too....Congrats Bruce, nice gifts!
Well, come on over, Mary! I'm sure that I have a few more that I can spare! :-) Betty in North East Texas
Visiting orchid friends is always fun...nice gifts!
You're so right Connie. I'll be at the 20th WOC in Singapore in November 2011. Wonder how many OTF members I'll meet there. It would be wonderful to see some of you there.
