Branka, I hope you did not pay Bulbo, cernuum price for this one because it is not Bulbo, cernuum. Try to google Bulbo. labuanum and see what you think.

I did Tom, I paid Bulbo cernuum.
But as I said I missed a bit fully open bloom.
I see there is one more bud, hope I'll won't miss it.
I googled, could be what you said, but grower I've bought this bulbo does not have Bulbo.labuanum. ?

No, you didn't miss much. Those flowers are nearly fully open. Mine never open flat.

The reason why that grower doesn't have Bulbo. labuanum---he/she treats her/his Bulbo. labuanum as Bulbo. cernuum... I don't know about its price in Germany but in U.S. Bulbo. ceruum will cost at least 75% more than Bulbo. labuanum.

Bulbo. labuanum can be very showy once it gets big and covered with those bright orange flowers.

Thank you so much for your comment Tom.
I compared both with each other and obviously I have Bulbophyllum labuanum. I've never checked labels before but now I see I should be more careful in future.

This plant belongs to Bulbophyllum subgenus Desmosanthes , maybe this plant was mislabeled by the vendor.

Let's asked an opinion of one the Bulbophyllum genus experts, Jim Cootes.

Look like I really didn't miss much, flowers are not quite, flat opened but I thought that they are already closing (as the Bulbo lepidum flower lasts only 3-4 days). As it flowers the first time I still don't know how long do they last.
Zain - I let you know when plant stop flowering.
