    Default Dendrochilum longifolia

The flowers open almost whoite with a greenish lip, and then go through a silver phase, then a gold phase and end up a bit brassy. As seen here, 20 spikes, and I counted 75 flowers on one spike ; so 1500 flowers . If you don't realise they are only 1/2 inch across it sounds quite impressive.
Incidentally the identical species is sold in UK ( also) as D magnum. I have not researched this - Jeffrey Woods (botanist at the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew,in UK) is the expert, and has written a book about the genus, but I haven't bought it - I porefer to spend that muchj money on several good orchids.

That is BEAUTIFUL. Mine only had 3 spikes and was D. Magnum. I loved every minute of it and the smell was fabulous. I am jealous of yours!!! I cut my last spike today. Enjoy.
