    Default Bulbophyllum gracillimum

    just bloomed this morning, pick up no scent from it, will sniff again tomorrow.
    something damage half of spike before it blooms leaving only half the array of the flowers.

    Sorry for the quality of the pics????? I thought they were shots of exotic bacteria photographed under a microscope! (It would have been a very handsome bacterium, I must say.)

    Very nice... I love gracillimum, but not free-flowering under my conditions.

    thanks everyone. and Maura, for me just thought that something is not so right with the pic, too bright on the bloom i guess and lack on focus on the last pic....but glad you all love it.

    Love this brilliantly coloured bulbo.I like the pictures too.The third pix may not be sharp but with tighter cropping would be very artistic especially with those turquoise tubes(or whatever).

    Oh, Ian - please don't think I was criticizing your photo - quite the opposite! I was noting that it was very handsome and unusual - that's all. I'm so sorry if it seemed otherwise. I was so tired I was in a silly mood.
