Default Blc. Yen Corona 'Green Genii' Cattleya

I so wanted to post a picture of this beautiful green and purple cattleya. My first blooming cattleya. It is a mini compact and has 2 lovely blooms. Its parents are Lc Brazilian Treasure x Blc. Magic Meadow. I recently had my computer worked on and the tech accidently deleted my photo program. The one I am currently using will not allow me to resize. I am looking for a new program but really do not have a clue as to a good one. Any suggestions? I do have a photo and as soon as I can get it resized I will share.

RON......IT WORKED! THANK YOU SO MUCH. B.J........THANKS FOR THE OFFER! LYNDA.....I WILL DOWNLOAD PICASSO. THANKS!

There is a free program from Google called Picassa which you can download. It does a good job of organizing all the photos on your computer, and it lets you do simple editing functions to them as well. As you prepare them for emailing or for exporting you can resize them.

Katie, there should be an editor in your Windows program (Paint), assuming you are using MS windows. If you go to MY PICTURES, right click on the picture you want to resize. choose EDIT....this should open the picture in PAINT...click on the IMAGE tab and choose STRECH/SKEW...there you can resize. Usually 30% X 30% brings it down to size for my pictures. once you hit okay, you will see the picture in it's new size. You then need to save it. to do that go to the IMAGE tab and hit save to replace the old picture or SAVE AS to save it with a new name.

...How come I don't have 'paint' on my computer? I thought everyone had it.

Very interesting color combo, Katie! She's a real looker!

In what direction will you spend your prize? That is, which genus will be targeted next? You seem to shop with a theme!

For some time now I have been looking for a multiple plant Newberry Parfait Picotee Phalaenopsis and a Potinara Hoku Gem Mini Cattleya. Since I am not known for my patience nor my growing skills I like to get them in beginning spike. I have contacted one vendor for the phal. I Don't let any grass grow under my feet! I usually buy what I like and what I think I can grow in my condiditions.

Very nice, I really like those green and purple tones!

I have a Newberry Parfait and it is lovely when in bloom. It's just sitting there right now.
