    Default NOID Phal

I just got back from my first society meeting. There was a sales table with orchids, each more beautiful than the next. I just happened to grab this little beauty. All the tag says is "phalaenopsis"

It's an amazing plant, and I'll love it no matter if it has a name or not, but if anyone has a clue, I'd appreciate it very much.

As you can see, some of the flowers have pure white, while others have tinges of pink and pinkish lines.

Hopefully, I'll get better photos tomorrow, when the light is better

SImply gorgeous I loe the deep pink marking on some of them and the pure white of others, You really did find a stunner there, I am also with you It is nice to have aname but when you find one that is just that beautiful it it comes home regardless if he has a name or not.

Here are some photos I took this morning. One bud has already opened, and there's another yet to bloom. So far, she's looking quite happy in her new home. Sure does make my Phal Baldan's Kaleidoscope look a bit puny next to her though.

Anne should get at least another 3 weeks or so out of those blooms, shouldn't she? In any event, she's getting to enjoy the beauty at its peak.
From my recent experience, buds aren't always better. We had a heatwave here over the weekend and 5 out of the 11 buds blasted on my dtps. I knew I was in trouble when I came home at 7pm and the thermometer in my room said 95.7 degrees and 29% humidity. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for the 2 spikes with developing buds. Its been 3 days and so far, everything still looks ok.
