    Default Aliceara Memoria Jay Yamada

This is an Oncid/Brassia hybrid, now called Aliceara Memoria Jay Yamada, but was once a Degarmoara (Brassidium Kenneth Bivin x Bratonia (Miltassia) Aztec. It is a crazy-healthy plant. When we left for Florida, it had three spikes, all at least 30 inches long or so. This is the last spike, but it has the largest blooms on it - 3 1/4 inches across. It's already been in semi-hydro for over a month, and seems to be doing well - it's in an 8 1/2 inch pot!

Wonderful color!! I had one similar but I believe it is now in the 'dead' orchid tag drawer. Yours is lovely!! Give it lots of water and air movement!

    cheers,
