Well, these are way too contrasty and some parts overexposed, but still---
Another favorite hybrid! Are the petals longer than Grande? My Grande petals maxed out at a little over a foot, maybe 13 inches.
Not yet, but I hope they will be. Right now, they're at about 10.
Giganteum will have longer petals than Grande because Grande was crossed back to caudatum. Post another pic at full bloom.
Here's a much better pic, no direct sun. (I promise I won't post any more of these!!)

Don't forget to post more of it in full bloom and I'm curious to know how long the petals get.
Yes, I'm curious too as to petal length. Is that one of the 3N Giganteums widely available these days? (I forget the exact cross). I'm with you on the troubles with lighting--excess light is the bane of my existence when I try to take pictures...
