Another favorite hybrid! Are the petals longer than Grande? My Grande petals maxed out at a little over a foot, maybe 13 inches.

Giganteum will have longer petals than Grande because Grande was crossed back to caudatum. Post another pic at full bloom.

Yes, the last one is a lot better. Yes, lighting is everything and I'm glad you're getting the hang of it.

Don't forget to post more of it in full bloom and I'm curious to know how long the petals get.

Yes, I'm curious too as to petal length. Is that one of the 3N Giganteums widely available these days? (I forget the exact cross). I'm with you on the troubles with lighting--excess light is the bane of my existence when I try to take pictures...
