Floofie, Connie, yes! . . . Plus its flowers have a sprinkling of small, barely darker spots on the back side of the petals near their bases, which is a bit unusual, but I think it comes from the Bc. Maikai in the background.

Mine was fragrant in the morning.

Potinara Hsyinying Pink Doll is a cross of (Bc. Little Mermaid x Pot. Li Jiuan Dancer) and was registered by Ching Hua in 2005.

Bc. Little Mermaid is (C. walkeriana x Bc. Maikai) a free-bloomer producing lots of clusters of long-lasting flowers, taking after its Maikai parent.

Pot. Li Jiuan Dancer is (C. Time Finney x Pot. Elegant Dancer) and I am not familiar with this cross.

BTW, I have not used the updated hybrid genera or their abbreviations, mostly cuz I haven't been able to memorize them all yet. [sigh]

Just a comment: Bc. Little Mermaid is a popular, floriferous hybrid, and is in collections everywhere around labeled as Bc. Little Marmaid 'Janet', AM/AOS. It was my understanding that it was registered 'Marmaid' instead of 'Mermaid' but I see the Orchid Registrar is showing it as 'Mermaid' so perhaps they corrected it. Maybe if there is a member here who is an AOS Judge they can confirm for the members here that it was corrected. Cheers!
